Environmental Science: Sustainability and Stewardship will explore the natural processes the shape the earth's surface and also affect the earth's atmosphere, and the impact humans have on these processes. The concepts of stewardship and sustainability witll be promoted and students will also examine current events in environmental science.

This curriculum guides students to gain a solid understanding of the processes of life and allows students to make scientifically informed decisions related to their health and to the health of the planet. Students engage in online at-home simple labs and authentic learning experiences the encourage the applications of biological knowledge to make decisions and solve problems. Students will study life through cell biology, genetics, human anatomy and ecology.
This course may be used for credit recovery and is available as a 10-week MCAS prep support course.
